At 1946hrs. Whiteford Volunteers were dispatched for a transfer engine to Lancaster Co. Rawlinsville VFC Station. Sta. 5-8 and surrounding companies were on-scene of a 2 alarm working dwelling fire in the unit block of St. Francis Way in Martic Township. At 1950hrs. E613 called en-route and then re-directed to the scene. The crew arrived and found heavy fire to a 2 1/2 story dwelling. The crew quickly went to work assisting with interior & exterior attack operations. At 2257hrs. Command 5-8 requested T631 to the scene due to limited access. At 2305hrs. T631 called en-route and arrived at 2327hrs. The Truck quickly placed the ladder pipe into service to the second floor area. Crews continued to assist with salvage & overhaul operations. Units cleared at 0227hrs.
