Friday, January 15, 2010 - At 1251hrs. Whiteford Volunteers were dispatched for 2 engines & a truck mutual aid to York Co. Sta. 57 first-due for a Dwelling Fire in the unit block of Club House Rd in Peach Bottom Township. At 1257hrs. Chief 6 & E612 called en-route, followed by E612 & T631 at 1259hrs. Units monitored York Co. dispatch advising of multiple calls reporting heavy fire & smoke visible. At 1300hrs. Sta. 57 & 56 units arrived and confirmed a 2 1/2 story dwelling fully involved. At 1302hrs. E611 & E612 arrived as 4th & 5th. due engines and crews began interior attack. Due to heavy fire, EVAC tones were activated and crews exited the dwelling. Crews & T631 continued exterior attack and overhaul operations. Units cleared at 1641hrs.
